CapitalRise closes £6.2m loan for Bucks development

CapitalRise has completed a £6.2m senior development loan for a prime residential project in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire.

The funding will support CapitalRise’s developer client with the acquisition and development of the 2.3 acre site.

This site currently houses an old storage facility which will be demolished to make way for five large, detached five-bedroom homes.

Each property will be approximately 2,900 to 3,390 sq ft in size with private site access and dedicated parking.

Lee Francis, head of origination at CapitalRise (pictured above), led the transaction and said this was part of the firm’s continued expansion into sought-after areas across London and the wider South East.

“The Home Counties are becoming an increasingly important focus for us, as we continue to diversify our lending portfolio,” added Lee.

“With substantial capital ready to deploy and growing market demand for development finance, we are keen to continue to lend to experienced developers across the South East.”
